FAQs
Please read our Japanese Incense Guide page to find out more.
How do I use the incense?
Place the incense stick upright in a suitable incense holder.
Light the tip, allow it to catch for a few seconds, then gently blow out the flame so the stick begins to smolder.
Always place it on a heat-resistant surface and never leave burning incense unattended.
Is the scent strong?
Japanese incense is usually more subtle and refined than conventional incense. It is made to create a gentle atmosphere rather than overpower the room.
Where is the incense made?
Our incense is made in Japan, following traditional incense-making techniques.
Is incense safe around pets or children?
Always burn incense in a well-ventilated area and keep it away from children, pets, curtains, and flammable items. Never leave burning incense unattended. If you have pets or sensitivities at home, we recommend using incense sparingly and observing how your space responds.
How should I store the incense?
Store your incense in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. The included paulownia wooden box helps protect the incense when not in use.
